A Trip Down FCPC’s Memory Lane

To remember means to value not only the before—but also the after.

First City Providential College was a thousand miles away from the very first step it took way back in 1984. FCPC had become a lot of things—a center of excellence, the first, the best in Bulacan, and the private school that highly thrives on its core values. Before everything it is today, it was nothing but a dream come true for President Estrella O. Simon. It seemed like a gift granted to her; for on her 33rd birthday, March 3 1984, was the day the Department of Education gave the go signal for FCPC, known as Francisco Homes Learning Center at that time, to finally operate. The school finally opened on June 14, 1984 and a year later, the school already offered complete elementary education.
